Your resume, marked up: what costs you the screening

Upload a PDF or Markdown file — we mark up your own text against 4 criteria: what gets you filtered out and how to rewrite it.

The first scan is free after sign-up. No card needed.

  1. 1“High-load” without a number says nothing. Add the scale: “payments service, 12k RPS”.
  2. 2“Worked on optimising” — a verb with no outcome. Say what changed: “p99 from 420 ms to 110 ms after reworking the indexes”.

Three steps

  1. Upload a PDF or Markdown, or paste the text

The file is parsed in your browser; only the text reaches the server.

  2. Name the vacancy

    A title or a link — hh.ru, t.me. Without one, 3 of the 4 criteria are judged.

  3. Read the marks on your own text

Each mark says what is wrong and how to rewrite that exact phrase.

What people ask

What is an ATS and why does it matter?
An Applicant Tracking System is the software a resume passes through before a recruiter. It matches against the vacancy and filters by format. The marks show where the resume loses a level before a person ever reads it.
What happens to the file?
The file is parsed in your browser; only the text reaches the server. How long it is kept is stated under the upload form on the checker page, and you can delete it from the scan history.
Can I scan without a vacancy?
Yes. Without a target, 3 of the 4 criteria are judged — “Target job fit” appears once you name a title or paste a link.
How many scans are free?
One, after sign-up, no card. After that, scans come with the subscription.
