An error: Preview has no property email

Expecting Omit to make email optional, like Partial: it removes the property, so a literal that still sets it fails the extra-property check.
Confusing Omit with Pick: Omit<User, "email"> keeps id and name and drops only email.

How would you write the same Preview with Pick?
Why does the same object with email pass when it is stored in a variable first?
